“Do you want to enjoy spending time with your daughter again but you don't know how?”
Powerful Connections Workshop
A 2-Part Workshop in North County San Diego for moms & their 8-10 year-old daughters
Whether you're feeling a sudden shift in your relationship or you've always longed for a deeper bond with your daughter, you are not alone. As girls approach the pre-teen years, communication changes, walls go up, and true closeness can feel harder to reach than ever.
You don't have to just watch it happen.
The Powerful Connections Workshop gives you a mapped-out, intentional way to bridge the gap. This isn't just a lecture, it is a safe, guided space to laugh, talk, and rediscover the joy of being together.
The Blueprint to Talk (and Listen): Learn practical tools to navigate big emotions and changing dynamics without the slamming doors.
Real-Time Closeness: Rebuild her trust and security through guided, hands-on activities designed for her age.
Your Own Support System: A dedicated space just for moms to talk openly, share insights, and prepare.
Lasting Impact: A comprehensive post-workshop debrief and a 1:1 follow-up call to ensure these new habits stick at home.
How it Works:
We break the workshop into two deliberate parts so you get the exact support you need, and she gets the quality time she craves.
Phase 1: The Parent-Only Session (90 Mins)
July 20th 11:30am-1pm Virtually
Connect with other moms, get oriented, and learn the framework before bringing your daughter into the room.
Phase 2: The Group Dyadic Session (90 Mins)
July 27th 4:30pm-6pm In-person
A fun, interactive, experiential session for you and your daughter to practice your new skills together.
To guarantee a positive experience for you and your daughter, we want to make sure this session has the best possible community dynamic before we begin.
We are aiming to kick off on July 20th, but will keep our dates flexible until the group is properly filled. We'll keep you updated on any date changes once you register.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor #14196
Therapist and Owner of ĒMA Therapy for Anxious & Overwhelmed Moms
I’m Ellie, a therapist for moms navigating some of the most stressful moments of parenting, and the owner of ēma therapy. I support parents who want to feel calmer, more confident, and less stuck in old patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in emotional regulation, self-awareness and somatic work, paired with simple, playful strategies families can bring into daily life.
I’m passionate about helping moms reconnect with themselves while building secure, sturdy relationships with their children. Guiding moms toward more ease, connection, and self-trust is one of the greatest gifts of this work. This workshop was created to help nurture that.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist #35072 Honey Palm Psychotherapy, Inc. Carlsbad, CA
Hi there, I’m Dr. Maggie Atlas. My practice is dedicated to serving children and their families, particularly those navigating neurodivergence/giftedness, shame, and grief–through individual play therapy, parent counseling, and individual therapy for parents. Three mantras that guide my work: Get curious. Seek connection. You were never meant to do this alone.
Through my work, I meet with moms who feel frustrated and overwhelmed by their child’s challenging behaviors. They tell me about losing their patience, battling shame, grappling with powerlessness, and feeling the hope of connecting with their child slipping away. Sometimes a painful admission follows: “I don’t know if I even like my own child sometimes.” This workshop was designed for those moms.
