Diving into the high-intensity parenting triggers that catch us off guard.

Ever completely lose your cool over something tiny and wonder where that intensity came from? That’s your background "shark music" playing. When our own history or old patterns sneak into the present, turning a minor parenting hiccup into a high-stakes emergency. In honor of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week coming up at the end of July, we’re tackling these mismatched reactions with zero judgment. Because this is a deeper topic, we’re starting with a physical reset: a guest instructor will lead us in a gentle yoga flow before we eat to help us release stored stress and get into a grounded headspace.

Shifting Your Family’s Food Story

Navigating the back-to-school transition and lowering the pressure around family meals.

As the school year approaches, the mental load of feeding our families quietly ramps up. The sudden return to strict schedules, meal planning, and the endless daily lunchbox pack can feel overwhelming. For this session, I have invited Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner Deena Barselah to pull up a chair and join in our circle.

This isn't a lecture on "perfect" nutrition or a how-to on cutting sandwiches into star shapes. Instead, Deena is joining us as a fellow mom and expert to guide an open, judgment-free conversation about our own relationships with food, how they impact our family’s food story and how we can gently shift our practices and rhythms so that family food feels less intense and more grounded.

Come eat, exhale, and take the pressure off the upcoming season.

    For our May Mama Lunch Break, we’re holding space for the real-life aftermath of Mother’s Day. Join us for a casual, supportive lunch where moms can connect, reflect, and exhale together in a warm, low-pressure environment.
