Is this Reset For Me?

If your home feel like this…You’re in the right place

  • You’re snapping more often than you’d like, even when you promise yourself you won’t.

  • Your child’s big feelings seem to come out of nowhere, and your best strategies just aren’t cutting it anymore.

  • You’re trying so hard to stay patient, but it feels like you’re constantly in survival mode.

  • You go to bed wondering, “Why does this feel so hard?”

You’re not alone and you’re not doing anything wrong.

Your nervous system is overwhelmed.

Your child’s is too.
And your family is stuck in patterns you didn’t choose, but you can shift.

This is where the family reset begins.

Inside Your 6-week Reset :

Each week includes three therapeutic layers designed to support the whole family:

Parent Group Therapy

A space to understand your own stress responses, why they’ve been so hard to manage, and how to shift them. You’ll learn what’s happening inside your body, and how to return to calm, even in the messy moments.

Child Group Therapy

Your child will explore emotional regulation through play, stories, movement, and skill-building activities, all led by a child therapist trained in nervous system-informed work.

Family Integration Activities

Where it all comes together.
These guided experiences help you practice co-regulation, communication, and connection, in real time, with therapeutic support.

This isn’t another “parenting class” or “play group.”
It’s a guided therapeutic experience, where real change happens through

practice, connection, and shared healing.

$2,400 — Up to 2 caregivers + 2 children

Meet Your Facilitators:

  • Ellie Messinger-Adams, LPCC #14196 Therapist for Anxious & Overwhelmed Moms

I’m Ellie, a therapist for anxious and overwhelmed moms and the owner of ēma therapy. I support parents who want to feel calmer, more confident, and less stuck in old patterns that show up in the hardest moments of parenting. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in emotional regulation and somatic work, paired with simple, playful strategies families can bring into daily life.

I’m passionate about helping moms reconnect with themselves while building secure, sturdy relationships with their children. Guiding parents toward more ease, connection, and self-trust is one of the greatest gifts of this work.

Priscilla Nyo Early Childhood Therapist San Diego

  • Priscilla Nyo, LMFT #138683, Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist

I’m Priscilla, an early childhood therapist, owner of Nyo Therapy: Early Years Child Therapy, where I provide parent-child therapy, child therapy, parent coaching support and in-home play therapy for young children in San Diego, CA.

I’ve spent my career supporting the youngest of kiddos and their caregivers as they learn to understand big emotions and navigate the ups and downs of the early years. I love working with families to find simple, practical, connection-based tools that bring more ease and cooperation into everyday life at home.

 FAQs

  • Regulation Reset isn’t a traditional “sit and learn” parenting class.

Most workshops or parenting classes teach you information and send you home with a list of tools to try on your own. This one is different because:

    • It’s experiential, not just educational.
You and your child will learn by doing through guided activities, play, and exercises that are hands on, not just listening to information.

    • You’ll get support in real time.
Instead of trying to figure out strategies at home on your own, you’ll practice them with us right there to guide, fine-tune, and help you feel successful. Along with feedback and support to tune into what you and your children need (not just based off a curriculum).

    • It builds your capacity as a parent, not just your knowledge.
We focus on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and regulated—so you can show up as the parent you want to be.

    • It’s tailored to your family.
Across the 6-week workshop, we shape activities to your child’s needs and your parenting style so the learning feels like it fits your family and you are not just trying to make your family’s needs fit into a parenting method or tool.

In short: this isn’t a workshop or class you “take.” to learn. It’s an experience you and your child move through together in order to build connection, confidence, and calm in a hands-on, meaningful way.

  • You’ll attend together with your child, this isn’t a drop-off program.

The sessions are designed so there’s time for families to do activities together, plus separate times where kids have their own group and parents have their own group together.

  • Because Regulation Reset is a 6-week, step-by-step experience, it’s really important that families are able to attend each session. Every week builds on the one before it in helping your child feel safe to learn, helping you feel more confident, and strengthening the trust and consistency that make regulation possible.

To get the full benefit of the program, we ask families to commit to all six weeks. Consistency is key for co-regulation, learning new patterns, and truly seeing the shifts you’re hoping for.

If you already know you’ll need to miss a session, we recommend waiting for the next round so you can have the full experience or reaching out for individual supports.

  • Absolutely. Single parents and non-parent legal guardians are fully welcome.

In homes with more than 1 caregiver, we strongly encourage at least 2 to attend, your parenting team is the foundation of the work we do in this workshop.

That said, if your family has one primary caregiver, you’re still completely supported. The “two caregiver” note is simply the maximum number of adults allowed per family due to group size limitations, not a requirement.

  • If you have another child who will not be participating in the program, we recommend arranging childcare for them, regardless of age, to help keep the experience focused and supportive for everyone involved.

Childcare is not included in the cost of the program. To make things easier, we are partnering with Bee Your Bee Happy to share a list of vetted sitters that families may choose to contact and hire directly. All childcare arrangements and payment are the responsibility of the family.

This resource will be available upon registration. Please be sure to ask us about it when you sign up.

  • We’re thrilled to partner with Bee You Bee Happy Childcare Collective for this workshop. Your children will be cared for in their licensed daycare facility by volunteer interns who will be referred to as “Assistants.”

    These Assistants:

    • Are volunteer interns through The Babysitters Club

    • Have graduated from BYBH Babysitters Training Academy & are supervised by Bee You Bee Happy Childcare Collective

    • Are Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certified

This partnership allows your child to be in a safe, warm, and engaging environment while you participate in the parent group. So you can fully focus, knowing they’re well cared for on-site.

Please note that for a portion of the parent group each week, Child Therapist, Priscilla will be facilitating activities to support emotional regulation skills in the child group, with the support of the Assistants.

  • Nope! We’ve got you covered. All drinks, snacks, and workshop supplies will be provided, so you and your child can simply show up and focus on the experience. Just bring yourselves, your curiosity, and a willingness to have fun and practice together.

  • Yes! Even if you or your child are currently in therapy, Regulation Reset offers something different. This workshop is all about practical, hands-on practice together. You’ll get guided opportunities to try co-regulation strategies with your child in real time, in a supportive environment. It’s not just learning about tools; it’s practicing them alongside your child, building connection and confidence as you go.

Being part of a group also offers the benefit of shared learning. You’ll see how other families navigate challenges, gain new ideas, and feel less alone in the ups and downs of parenting. This experience can complement ongoing therapy, strengthen routines, and help both you and your child feel more supported, regulated, and confident in your everyday life.

A guided therapeutic experience for your whole family.

  • Stop snapping in the moments that matter

  • Stay present without spiraling

  • Actually enjoy time with your kids again

  • And build a calmer, more connected home together

If your instinct is, “We need support… but we need it to be safe, real, and effective,” you’re in the right place.
