My Approach to Therapy
Why Motherhood Therapy?
Motherhood isn’t something to be fixed or medicalized. It’s a profound, identity-shaping journey that touches every part of you—mind, body, and soul. Therapy offers a space to feel seen, supported, and reconnected with who you are becoming. When you feel more grounded, more like yourself, and more emotionally regulated, your relationships shift too. And when a mother is supported, her entire family—children included—thrive.
Fit is everything!
Before we dive into my approach, let's talk about the real key to effective therapy: finding the right fit. While you might like my style on paper, how we connect in person is what truly matters. I encourage you to reach out, get to know me, and see if we click. If I'm not the right match, that's okay - what's important is that you find the best therapist for you. Your journey to becoming a more grounded, authentic version of yourself starts with finding the right therapeutic partner, so let's see if that could be me.

Working with me isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about creating space to feel more like you again. We’ll slow down, tune into your body, and build a safe space where you can exhale, reflect, and be deeply supported.
Therapy with me is rooted in real connection. I take time to get to know your story—your struggles, your hopes, and what truly matters to you. Every session is shaped around you, whether that means holding space for big emotions or laughing through the messiness of mom life.
As we work together, you’ll begin to:
Feel more present and playful with your child
Set boundaries with more ease and less guilt
Quiet the mental noise and trust your inner voice
Navigate daily stress with greater emotional regulation
Reconnect with a steadier, more grounded version of yourself
We’ll use tools like somatic practices, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy to gently untangle what’s been weighing you down. This work isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence, confidence, and building a life that feels aligned and more you.
-
Life as a mom is full—therapy shouldn’t add pressure. That’s why I offer flexible options to meet you where you are. You can choose in-person sessions in Carlsbad or San Marcos, virtual therapy from anywhere in California, or join a group to connect with other moms walking a similar path.
Wherever and however we meet, you’ll be welcomed into a safe space where you can show up just as you are—messy hair, big feelings, baby toys in the background and all.
-
Motherhood can shake your identity, your nervous system, and your relationships. My approach helps you come back to yourself with curiosity, compassion, and a sense of steadiness.
This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about slowing down, listening to your body, and making space for what you truly need. We’ll explore what’s beneath the pressure to do it all, and gently shift the patterns and beliefs keeping you stuck.
We work with your whole self—mind, body, and soul—to support healing and wholeness. Because the goal isn’t perfection—it’s feeling like you again.
-
When your mind, body, and soul are in sync, you feel more grounded, less reactive, and more at home in yourself. Through somatic work and mindfulness, we’ll slow things down and reconnect with the wisdom your body already holds.
This isn’t just stress relief—it’s a deeper recalibration. We’ll notice physical cues, explore emotional blocks, and build a felt sense of calm you can return to again and again.
Because when you feel supported on every level, everything else—your relationships, your decisions, your sense of self—begins to shift too.
